The law on new tax benefits for enterprises was supported by Moscow authorities

The State Duma adopted a law that provides tax incentives for employers who pay for vacations of their employees.

According to the head of the department of investment and industrial policy of Moscow, Alexander Prokhorov, new tax incentives will help to develop an important social itiative – leisure of employees. This initiative, in its turn, will increase the demand in sanatorium treatment services and lead to the availability of such services.

The law assumes that the employer will be able to take into account the costs of housing, food and medical treatment for employees and their family members as part of labor costs when calculating corporate income tax. The draft law also exempts the amounts from personal income tax that employer pays for employee to health resort organizations. It is also worth noting that a limit will be set for resort costs – 50 thousand rubles per person.
