Launch a business in Russia online
The Federal Tax Service has introduced a new service for simplified business start-up. That is, novice entrepreneurs will not need to personally contact the tax service, as it will be possible to submit all documents online.
So, it will include services:
- On registration of a legal entity
- Obtaining an electronic digital signature
- Opening a bank account
To receive these services remotely, you will need the entrepreneur’s biometrics. So, the applicant must choose a bank, and then consent to the remote issuance of EDS.
To get an EDS, you need to have an account on Public Services for authentication. You will also need to register your biometric data for their subsequent storage in a Unified system of identification and authentication of individuals using biometric personal data.
The list of offices where biometric data can be submitted is publicly available.
This experiment will simplify the business registration procedure and increase the number of people who want to start their own business. The Start Business Online service should start working in a trial format from March 1, 2024 to March 1, 2025.
